How the scheme has evolved

Kingston Estates have been developing the proposals for 1-4 Francis Grove over the course of four years.  The scheme has evolved considerably.

The design has been through several iterations, with the current development of a façade with brick and glazed ceramics. The proposals have also evolved, with more active ground floor frontage to increase activity and openness on the pavement outside the building; and to include greening with new planters on the pavement.

The height of the building has also been reduced by one storey, from 11 to 10 storeys.

Kingston Estates are very conscious of the building’s environmental impact and as the scheme has evolved, so to has the sustainability strategy for the scheme, with a particular focus on embracing what are known as the ‘circular economy principles’ which encourage the highest environmental standards.

The images below shows the design evolution, with the current scheme to the right.

The scheme is still changing and we will keep you updated on this website.
