The site, 1-4 Francis Grove, is currently a four storey office building and located on the corner of St George’s Road and Francis Grove, in Wimbledon town centre.
It is close to Wimbledon train station with access to tube, tram and rail services as well as being close to many bus services. Planning policy gives it a transport PTAL rating of 6b, the highest it can be.
The plans are for the redevelopment of the office building to provide the type of high quality office space for Wimbledon that is demanded by all types of businesses. The current building is outdated and unfit for purpose; the proposed new building will be designed to be more environmentally sustainable. There will also be new planting and an enlarged pavement.
